The Twelve Tenets

The Grammar that Disciplines the Path

If the seven initiates are the path, the twelve tenets are the grammar that disciplines the walking of it — the precepts that turn raw perception into a way of being. They are set in three tiers, and the tiers are not arbitrary; each presupposes the one before. The first three teach how to perceive; the next five, how to relate and how to stand; the last four open outward into the work’s more seemingly magical realms. We give each its due in turn, for these are the working instruments of the praxis, and they reward depth.
