Layer 2 — Trust Architecture

Once aligned people can find each other, this layer handles whether sustained cooperation can develop: mechanisms for demonstrating trustworthiness over time, repairing ruptures, and building reputational signal that reflects real relational integrity rather than performance, virality, or gaming. This is the layer where the project will succeed or fail.

Layer 3 — Bio-Consensus: the Currency of Presence (unit: COHERENCE; rooted in the present, built carefully over time)

The trust layer's deepest extension: a self-owned record of demonstrated coherence — what the later volumes name the Currency of Presence, whose unit is coherence itself. It begins not in technology but in the oldest human reality, the real presence two people bring to each other; the measurement is only what eventually lets that presence travel. The record is opt-in and encrypted, held by the participant and never by Providence — never centrally aggregated, never imposed as an external score. It may open doors to greater trust; it may never close the door to survival. Participants choose if, when, and with whom to reveal any part of it. It behaves like currency in the oldest sense: not a tradeable token, but a record of demonstrated coordination capacity that circulates only when its holder chooses.
