In plain terms: regenerative is not a marketing word here. It is a design choice about how value moves, so that every exchange leaves people and place a little better rather than a little drained. — At the Cardinal Scale you can watch it happen: the same hours of work that feed a family also rebuild the soil and the social fabric. Nothing is taken from one column to fill another. That is the whole difference between this economy and the one outside its valley.

Toward the coherent substrate. This is the swap itself, stated economically: a circulation that restores in place of one that drains. An economy in which the ordinary act of making a living also rebuilds the soil and the social fabric is, concretely, what "coherence as substrate" means in its relationship to terrestrial regeneration.
