Coda: In Plain Terms
134 words, about 1 minute.
Simply: scarcity is a test, but so is sudden abundance — money arrives, and it either strengthens what you are or quietly replaces it. — When a large gift came to the Cardinal Scale, the community did something unusual: it accepted it gladly, and entirely on its own terms. Not every gift is a leash. Part of maturity is knowing which abundance you can receive without being bought — and being able to say a wholehearted yes to the gift you can accept.
Toward the coherent substrate. Sudden abundance is extraction's gentlest capture — the gift that slowly becomes the leash. Receiving it on coherent terms — a wholehearted yes to the gift you can accept, a clear no to the one you cannot — is the maturity the pivot requires. Not every resource corrupts; the discipline is knowing which.
